A glass of wine and some music can create a relaxing atmosphere, which is the perfect setting for a gathering of researchers, artists and the public. Even the most complex scientific issues can be discussed more freely and openly in an informal setting.
This explains the success of the "cafè scientifique", a phenomenon that took shape in 1998 in France and Great Britain and which has now spread throughout the world, including Italy.

Now, EURAC tower has its own science café, which has become a tradition in Bolzano on Thursday nights in June and July.
On the terrace of the tower, EURAC experts and researchers with various backgrounds, under the direction of a well-prepared moderator, meet to discuss current issues. The public interacts with questions and comments, sipping on a drink, and the chit-chat continues even after the end of the meeting, accompanied by the music.

Each evening is recorded and can be heard thanks to the podcasting service. In addition, participants may see themselves in the photo galleries, updated every week.
